Our Build On Your Lot process is meticulously designed for clarity, efficiency, and quality at every step of the way, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Building a home on your own land should feel exciting—not overwhelming. Our team works closely with you at every stage to simplify the process and deliver a home you'll be proud of. With our proven approach, we take the stress out of building so you can focus on creating lasting memories in a space designed just for you.


Here's how our 5-step process works:

Site Evaluation:

Every great home starts with the right foundation. We'll walk your property with you to understand its unique features—topography, trees, utilities, access, and more. This ensures that your home is perfectly positioned and that we've anticipated potential challenges before we begin. Our goal is to set the stage for a smooth build from day one.

Design & Customization:

We offer thoughtfully designed floor plans that serve as the foundation for your new home. From there, you'll have the opportunity to make personalized adjustments—whether it's reworking a layout for better flow, adding an additional RV garage or garage apartment, or choosing finishes that reflect your style. It's a collaborative process where your vision and our expertise come together.

Budget, Timeline & Planning:

Clarity matters. We'll meet with you to establish a budget that works and outline a timeline you can count on. Typically, we're able to begin construction within 45–60 days of contract signing. From there, most homes take about 5–6 months to complete, depending on weather and site conditions. While we don't promise exact dates, you can be confident that we'll communicate openly and keep the process moving forward.

Construction & Oversight:

This is where plans become reality. We oversee every stage of construction with a third-party engineer inspecting your home no less than seven times throughout the build. Each home we complete earns a Guardian Certification, giving you peace of mind that your home has been built to code and to the highest standards of quality.

Final Walkthroughs:

Before you move in, we'll walk through your new home with you—twice. First, to educate you on how to operate and maintain your home, and second, to make sure every last detail meets your expectations. Any concerns will be addressed promptly so you can step into your new home with complete confidence.
